Tartan Answers

Hi, I found this Charlie Brown dress in the DFO in Essendon VIC but it was one size too small for me. The tag read “Lt. Commander Andrew Charlie” or something like that. It was a thick material with a tartan/plaid pattern in browns & golds, the neck was high & the hemline was slightly asymmetrical, falling just past the knee. Sleeveless. Anyone know where I can find one of these again in sz 12? Sorry, I don’t know which collection it is from. Any info at all would be appreciated. I have contacted Charlie Brown designs but nobody ever replies!! Please help. Thanks.

I need to dress up like Albert Einstein for my project but i don’t know how.I don’t want to wear a costume. I wanna make my own. I was thinking of wearing a plaid shirt, & black jeans. Also a wool sweater. I need help with the hair btw. I was thinking off putting my hair on a really messy bun & spray white. Good? It’s due on thursday. Oh & i’m a girl if that helps.

so ok here is what happened, im gettin married in august & i wanted my bridesmaid to be wearing blue, but my soon to be mother-in-law suggested green as it is the main colour in the grooms family tartan & they will all be wearing green jackets (i had already been considering green but settled on blue) so my fiance demands that i change the dress colour to green so after considerable deliberation & discussions with my mum i decided that i could opt for a light green like a mint or something really pale but still green, & purely because my soon to be mother-in-law had a point it would look better if she was in green, so i told my fiance that we would change it to pale green & he now tells me it has to be the same or similar shade of green as thier jackets so she would be wearing a dark green dress…..
my question is this, should i just put her in the colour of green he wants or have i compromised enough by putting her in any shade of green when i really wanted her in blue?

Okay, I have to do a scene from Romeo & Juliet for English but in a different like…theme or time & I’m doing it with a Scottish theme. Like we would speak with a Scottish accent & where Scottish costumes….We need to know like what one would wear like everyday clothes. Do only wealthy men wear kilts? What are the landscapes? Is there anything significant in the way they live or behaviors? Anything at all is helpful. Thanks!

My dress is a very punky style, it’s purple & green colouring with a kind of checkered / tartan pattern, & green netting.
I know what it sounds like, but it really is quite nice.
The purple is a darkish berry colour, & the green is a nice healthy plant looking green. The dress overall looks *slightly* on the darker end of the scale.
My hair is naturally dark blonde / light brown, but I dyed it red a couple of years ago & it hasn’t quite come out properly, but right now it just looks warm & sun kissed.
Please give me any helpful hints & tips on what colouring I should have for my hair???

my friend is getting married next may & she has a gold dress (id say its a christmas gold) & her OH is wearing a kilt its mainly dark blue with purple (think cadburys) tartan pattern she wanted burgandy to begin with which would look nice with the gold but doesnt suit the tartan shes asked me 4 help what do u think any pics would help so i can show her
