I live in Edinburgh & my city is a popular venue for American tourists at this time of year, but they are renown for asking the most dumb questions. I just want others examples & views on why they are inclined to ask these questions.

A Couple Of Questions About The Mcgregor Tartan And Kilt Making?
I’ve been asked to make a kilt for a little boy in the McGregor tartan, & in order to get started I need to know the following:
a) what is the pattern repeat measurement along the length of the fabric
b) is the kilt hemmed, or is the selvedge used at the hemline?
