Okay, so i am intrested in some plaid shirts. Maybe black & blue ones, kinda like this:http://www.swell.com/Guys-Flannels/TAVIK… even though that is in hoodie form but i still like the style of it.
Any adive or links as to where i can find some nice looking ones that will have everyone i know at school all over my body?

We live in an apartment, & we are not allowed to paint the walls. It is a very small, akward room to work with. We have a couch that is giving me so much trouble, & my mum wants to keep it, so I am kind of working around that. It is kind of a christmas red & green plaid with dark blue & plum & mustard…I really wanted to cover it, but couch covers are so expensive, & I am no good at sewing. The wall next to the couch wall is a huge, beautiful window, the best part of the room, & next to that there is a door to the patio. The door is kind of in the corner, & on the other side of the corner is the door to my mum’s room. The patio door opens in, so when it is open it completely covers the entrance to my mum’s room. One more thing: We have a big, round wooden dining room table, which my mum also wants to keep. Right now it is sitting in front of the window, & sticks out to about the middle of the room (the couch is one of the seats). Thanks so much for the ideas!

Obviously I don’t want to wear sweat pants on a regular basis, but on days off from work when I get up & need to make a run to the store. Ok, I want some plaid Dickies in either size 10 or 00short & i went on their website & all they had were mens, womens, & school uniforms. I know they atleast have to have more sizes & selection (i didnt see plaid). So my question is do where i can find a pair, if they have plaid dickies in my size?

Some items I really like are plaid shirts, biker jackets, destroyed jeans, leopard print flats, sparkly cardigans.

i got this really cute plaid skirt! it’s mainly black but has whit & red in it. i really love the skirt, but i can’t seem to find any shirts or shoes to go with it. can i get some help? And pictures to compare to would be FANTASTIC!!!

The one promise I made about our wedding to my fiance is that he can wear a kilt. Originally, we chose the red version of his family tartan. Now, looking at the colors of the kilt, I’m realizing that its going to be a pain to match the colors & get them to coordinate. The wedding is next summer, & fortunately, I haven’t really ordered or paid for anything major that uses that color scheme. (Just invitation samples & bride & groom t-shirts). There is a blue version of his family tartan that is lovely, but I had originally had my heart set on a red & white wedding. I’ve always loved that color scheme even before I agreed to let him wear a kilt. Looking at it now, however, the colors of that kilt look too dark for a summer wedding & the things I’ve found that I like in red don’t match the kilt at all. I’m considering switching to the blue. Tell me what your opinions are. Can I pull off a blue & brown color scheme with the other kilt? If I can, I think I’ll be happy with it.

My nephew is getting married & I am one of twenty some people who are pitching in on a quilt. They are getting married at Thornewood castle. The theme is Celtic/ Nordic .She suggests things like celtic knots or designs,mandala designs, celtic crosses runes, heather, animals like ravens or?… I’m thinking applique as I am familiar. Some will be doing embroidery or cross stitch but I don’t do that. I could do something with gold braid maybe, in the designs of knots or patterns, maybe even paint. The date has already been claimed, asis thistle, trinity knot, Thors hammer. Maybe I could do heather?…. The quilt will be off white linen squares; a titch of the blue green tartan similar to the kilts (he is wearing a kilt!) & may be used as small border or divider, & the main wide border & back will be a beautiful amethyst9thistle) colored velveteen. Gold braid or trim will be used somewhere in the border or trim.
I am on a 2 week deadline. Please help!!!!!!!

I wasn’t sure where to post this, but since it’s a family squabble issue, I thought I’d put it here.
I have a son (16) & daughter (17). Both are staying with my sister in England for the summer vacation. She runs a store in England (Scotch Shop) which sells Scottish related things (clothing, food, ornaments etc). They are helping out part-time to fund their keep & earn some extra spending money which they are then using to travel around more.
Anyway, here is the argument. My sister (and her district manager) have a policy that the staff wear kilts… note that these are not real kilts which can be very expensive, but more different tartan stlyle skirts (of varied lengths).
My son is objecting & says he doesn’t want to wear a “skirt”. My daughter thinks he should, otherwise she shouldn’t have to either (she is actually a tomboy & hardly ever wears a skirt). My sister insists that she has enforced this before with guys & girls & isn’t backing down.
How should I play it
